Because we intentionally omitted a database layer (PostgreSQL, SQLite, Firebase) from Duplex to ensure privacy, the history mechanism had to be re-engineered utilizing purely device limits.

We hook into the browser's IndexedDB and LocalStorage. The moment a token completes streaming, it is committed to local physical storage. When you close the tab, pull your Ethernet cable out, and reopen the browser, your previous Local Grok session is exactly where you left it.
